Busy Busy Busy

The last few months (since my last post, basically) have been so busy at this point I barely remember it. I want to update this site so badly, especially the home page, but I'll probably have to hold off. I think for now I'll just work on it slowly and do small updates like blog posts and status updates in the meantime. I feel like I've been neglecting this site a lot (well, I have).

In a couple of weeks I'm finally moving to continue my studies abroad!! It's a crazy feeling to know that soon I'll be living in a completely different country. The set up has been insane, I've been doing so much to prepare for the past couple of months. I've barely been drawing too which is a bummer. So it'll be nice to finally move and be able to settle in a little bit. Get into a routine of sorts. I'll be studying urban design too which is really exciting.

I've been oscillating between "oh my god fuck this is scary I'm gonna fail!!" and "omg I'm so excited everything is gonna be great" which is a little exhausting but probably normal for a huge life change like this. I think I'm starting with easier circumstances than most international students anyways, because I know people there already and I've been there many times before. So I consider myself lucky for having a sort of soft launch on that instead of going in completely blind.

Anyways, this is a really messy blog post. I might come in and edit it, I might not. Either way I want to get out of the mindset that I keep getting stuck in where I'm like "oh I haven't posted in forever so what's the point". I'm not sure if other people have that, but I always drop things because I can't get the "better late than never" mindset and I just give up if I have gaps of inactivity in things. I have been getting better at that in recent years, but it's especially bad in terms of online spaces. I should probably draw soon too.
